Yet is a key word….

I have found myself saying this to my children a number of times this week. We all have the propensity, perhaps at this time of year, to jump to some fairly gloomy conclusions. I encourage my kids to put the word “yet” in to what is often a rather gloomy / hope’less’ statement. When we do this, hope is immediately released into a situation. We don’t always know what the future holds and sometimes insisting on the word ‘yet’ can keep are minds open and hopeful for longer.
